The RightBike bike share program is now closed for the 2014 season. Let’s all bid these purple beauties goodbye as they enter their long period of winter hibernation.
This season we have flourished in so many ways. We now have 16 hubs, countless donations, steadily increased awareness, and so much else to be proud of. Your donations have helped us reach almost 100 bikes in our fleet! Without you wonderful supporters, none of this could have been accomplished. THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts.
Also, we are announcing the season’s closing date as Friday, October 10, 2014. This means all the bikes and hubs will be put away by Thanksgiving Weekend! Please note that this also means only 2 more D.I.Y. nights left of the regular season.
Thank you to everyone who supports RightBike! Without you, we wouldn’t be us!
Causeway Work Centre and RightBike wish to bid farewell to Shane Norris as he moves on to other opportunities, which we are sure will be equally good for our environment and community. During his four years as operational manager, Shane has been RightBike’s strongest advocate, building partnerships and goodwill throughout the city of Ottawa. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
This means we have a big gap to fill at RightBike as we search for someone to take on this meaningful small business. If you have a commitment to your community and an entrepreneurial spirit, click here to read the full posting.
We are hoping you are willing to take less than 5 minutes to help us out! This year’s survey is only 9 questions long, and we want to hear from you no matter who you are! If you use RightBike regularly or just a fan of the project, please please please do this quick easy peasy survey!!!

PedalEasy has given us an opportunity to use their bikes which makes trailering the RightBikes much easier for us! Thank you PedalEasy!!
PedalEasy is an Ottawa based e-bike company that has been enabling people to get back on their bicycles and achieve an active lifestyle they no longer thought possible for themselves. Their lightweight e-bike design and pedal assist system have been helping people conquer their physical limitations and serve as great equalizers in the daily commute and family bike-trip alike.

We are sad to say another seat has gone missing, this time from Bike #36 at Hintonburg Community Centre on the night of July 15, 2014. RightBike is a community, non-profit program so if you see our seat out there it would mean the world to us if it was returned! If you wanted to help us out at RightBike, donations of bikes or funds are greatly appreciated. Donations can be brought to our Head Quarters at 1A McCormick St.
